Pumpkin Shootout
The Pumpkin Shootout is our most popular event by far. It fills up in just minutes when registration opens. 2022 was our 18th annual Pumpkin Shootout and in 2022 it was an A-Tier. In 2023, we go back to being a B-Tier.
This event has a tradition that includes pumpkin carving, a glow round, and a course filled with pumpkins. It is a lot of fun and a favorite of locals and many folks who travel in for the occasion.

Evansville Open
2022 was the 15th Annual Evansville Open. This is another popular event that we run as a B-Tier.
Indiana / Kentucky Border Battle
Each year there is a border battle between Indiana and Kentucky. Hosting the border battle and choosing the course alternates each year between the two states. Recent years have included more participation from other local clubs but "The border battle started out as just a good time to shake the rust off and was mainly between the AceEagles and DCDGA." - Ben V.
Indiana won most recently in 2023, but before then it was 2018 when Indiana last won.

Evansville Ice Bowl
Each year, our club organizes an Ice Bowl (part of the international effort to have fun playing disc golf while also raising money for a local charity). 2023 was our 18th annual Ice Bowl. The event is unique in that folks can buy unlimited mulligans to get the best score they can possibly get. They can buy mulligans with money or canned goods.
You can find all of the past contributions on the Ice Bowl website but here is a handy table below from each year that is recorded.
